MOVEUKRAINE achievements in 2023

In the face of adversity, Ukraine has stood strong, demonstrating remarkable resilience and determination to rebuild the country under attack. MoveUkraine, a non-profit organization committed to reconstruction efforts, has played a pivotal role in this journey, achieving significant milestones in 2023.
In less than a year, MoveUkraine renovated 4,516.5 square meters, completed 13 construction projects and provided housing for 563 displaced people. This article highlights the extraordinary efforts made by MoveUkraine and outlines our impactful initiatives.

Let’s see what we have done in 2023!

In February, 2023 MoveUkraine repaired apartments for 40 families in Irpin, Kyiv region.

In April, 2023 we opened Modular House #1 in Makariv, Kyiv, and the Teremok House in Kalush, Ivano-Frankivsk region, offering hope and shelter to those in need.

In May, 2023 MoveUkraine opened Modular House #2 in Makariv, Kyiv, to provide secure housing for displaced individuals.

In June, 2023 our team accomplished four significant projects, including the MoveUkraine Educational Center in Stryi, Lviv region, a Rehabilitation Center in Ivano-Frankivsk, Student Dormitory #35 in Stryi, and Modular House #3 in Makariv.

In August, 2023 two additional projects were successfully completed in Ivano-Frankivsk region – BlueCheck House in Bodnariv and The Hawrylyshyn-Batruch House in Shevchenkove, further contributing to the organization’s impactful work.

In October 2023 a pivotal moment arrived with the completion of the Hospital for Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) and disabled children in Stryi, Lviv region, addressing critical healthcare needs in the community.

In November 2023 MoveUkraine opened two homes for displaced people: MoveUkraine House in Voinyliv, Ivano-Frankivsk region, and a new building with 12 social apartments in Drohobych, Lviv region.

We extended our impact through various humanitarian programs as well, including KidsKonnectUkraine, Dental health program, and Water filtration systems installation in Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, and Dnipro regions after the bombing of the Kahovska Dam.

MoveUkraine helped 11 displaced individuals found employment opportunities, contributing to their personal and professional growth.

And we don’t stop, we move forward. In 2024, we are continuing working on five projects in Lviv, Ternopil, Ivano-Frankivsk and Kharkiv regions. This includes renovating social apartments, building a social apartment complex, and renovating shelter homes to accommodate displaced individuals and families.
In 2024 we are coming with our new project – renovating the Rehabilitation Center for veterans and civilians.

Every success story, every rebuilt home, and every smiling face is a testament to the impact that MoveUkraine has had on the lives of those affected by the war.

Together, we can rebuild, renovate, and create a brighter future for Ukraine.
