Humanitarian Aid from the Netherlands

In January 2024, not indifferent people from the Netherlands demonstrated significant care and support in hard times for all Ukrainians. Their efforts serve as an example of humanitarian collaboration and exceptional solidarity.

People of Ukrainian origin, including Olena Oranska, who has already helped Ukrainians, along with empathetic Dutch citizens, engaged in a charitable movement rallying around the initiative of MoveUkraine. Through their courageous actions, they decided to deliver humanitarian aid (medical supplies, medical devices, and sports equipment) based on the needs of Ukrainians.

Dutch drivers, despite the war and long queues at borders, risked their comfort and safety to deliver essential items for humanitarian needs. This profound display of solidarity and direct assistance illustrates a high level of mutual support and readiness to help those in need.

MoveUkraine, in turn, will distribute aid, adhering to the principle of meeting the specific needs of communities. It’s noteworthy that medical supplies and medical devices were promptly handed over to the Verkhovyna delegation, which arrived to receive the aid alongside Yuriy Filipchuk, the head of the Verkhovyna district council. All medications and medical devices will be delivered to the Verkhovyna Multiprofile Hospital, proving to be of great value for the health of the local people, including IDPs and veterans being serviced there.
Among the items handed over, such as bedsheets, ventilators, incontinence materials, various medical supplies, and medical tables, are resources solving critical issues in the current situation.

Sincere gratitude is extended to friends, partners, and all those who are not indifferent for the provided assistance!
