MoveUkraine founder John Shmorhun and volunteer Dieter Zürcher gave an interview to the Halychyna TV channel

John Shmorhun, founder of the MoveUkraine charity fund, and Dieter Zürcher, a volunteer from Switzerland, appeared on the Halychyna TV channel, where they shared the history of the fund’s activities and their personal impressions of working in Ukraine.

During the conversation, John spoke about MoveUkraine’s main mission — to build rehabilitation centers in the Carpathian region for veterans and anyone who has suffered from the war and needs recovery. These centers are designed to help not only physically but also mentally – to restore the body and soul, giving people strength, faith, and hope.

The foundation also creates social housing for internally displaced persons to give people who have lost their homes the opportunity to start a new life in a safe space.

MoveUkraine volunteer Dieter Zürcher, who came to Ukraine from Switzerland, shared his impressions of living in shelters with displaced persons. He saw how Ukrainians overcome difficulties with dignity, support each other, and remain strong in spirit, even in the most difficult moments. This inspired him to join the MoveUkraine foundation and help people affected by the war.

The MoveUkraine team continues its mission in the Carpathian region – to build a space for recovery, faith, and humanity, where everyone can feel supported and find new meaning in life.
