The charitable foundation MoveUkraine supported the creation of a modern rehabilitation department at Drohobych City Hospital No. 1. The space in the hospital’s Pediatric Building was fully renovated to provide safe, accessible, and modern conditions for medical rehabilitation and recovery. The new department will be able to serve up to 60 patients per day, expanding access to rehabilitation services in the region.
This project was made possible thanks to the support of the Norwegian Private Donors Group, whose contribution allowed MoveUkraine to complete the renovation and prepare the facility for full operation. The upgraded space now offers improved conditions for patients undergoing physical rehabilitation and recovery after trauma.
The opening event was attended by representatives of MoveUkraine, including Founder and CEO John Shmorhun, as well as local authorities, hospital leadership, and medical professionals. During the event, John Shmorhun thanked the doctors, rehabilitation specialists, and therapists who will work in the new center and emphasized the importance of developing rehabilitation infrastructure in Ukraine, especially for those affected by the war.
MoveUkraine sincerely thanks Norwegian Private Donors Group for supporting this project and contributing to the development of rehabilitation services in Ukraine, helping patients regain their health and return to active life.
