On April 4th, the first anniversary of the shelter named “Teremok” in the city of Kalush, Ivano-Frankivsk region is celebrated.
Last year on this day, the charitable foundation MoveUkraine, with the support of our donor “Go Campaign,” opened its doors to 40 internally displaced Ukrainians (IDPs). These people, fleeing from the war, left their homes and came from the hottest areas in Ukraine: Luhansk, Donetsk (including 15 IDPs from the Bachmut direction), Mykolaiv, Kharkiv (Kupyansk direction), as well as Zaporizhzhia region (Melitopol district).
Initiated by a private donor, MoveUkraine donated the residents of the shelter a large children’s playground. This is particularly significant as “Teremok” has become a home for many children in need of a happy childhood.
This playground has become a true source of joy for the young residents of “Teremok,” where they can play and develop safely under the open sky. Their cheerful voices and smiles fill the shelter’s courtyard, demonstrating that especially in difficult times, children require our help and protection.
