John Shmorhun is a guest in “European Vector” program (Vezha)

John Shmorhun, Founder and President of the MoveUkraine charitable foundation, is a guest on the “European Vector” program (radio and television channel “Vezha”).

The idea to establish MoveUkraine charitable foundation arose when John witnessed the endless stream of thousands of Ukrainian mothers and children flowing into western Ukraine, seeking shelter and often forced to sleep on the floors of train stations, churches, schools, and village councils. In response to this urgent humanitarian need, he founded the MoveUkraine foundation, driven by his determination to provide safe and dignified living conditions for these displaced individuals.

Currently, the MoveUkraine charitable foundation has raised over $2,000,000 USD, providing hundreds of Ukrainians with fully furnished housing and integrating them into the community through more than 12 refurbished “turn key” houses in western Ukraine. The MoveUkraine charitable foundation takes a personalized approach to each community, investing in the coordination and maintenance of the houses and in the development of healthy and productive lives for our new residents.
