2024 was another year of hard work by our team aimed at supporting internally displaced Ukrainians (IDPs), veterans, war victims, and stray animals. We continue to create safe and comfortable conditions for those who need it most.
MoveUkraine’s main achievements in 2024:
✅ Social housing for IDPs: We have repaired and equipped 5 residential premises, providing temporary shelter to hundreds of families.
✅ Rehabilitation centers: We completed the construction of the first center for veterans and for those injured by the war, where rehabilitation programs have already begun.
✅ Repair of medical facilities: We have renovated the Children’s Hospital.
✅ Furnishing the Veterans’ Space: Partially equipped with necessary furniture.
✅ Helping animal shelters: As part of the MUSE_PET project, we supported animal shelters, including the installation of cages.
✅ Medical initiatives: Together with Dr. Paul Runge, we conducted free eye examinations for shelter residents, diagnosing important health issues. We also continue to support the dental health of IDPs.
✅ Educational initiatives: We have expanded the KidsKonnectUkraine project, which facilitates communication between children from Ukraine and the United States, helping them to share experiences and culture.
✅ Victory Gardens: Together with American Dan Engle, we plant plants near IDP shelters, creating cozy green areas and, most importantly, for the purpose of socialization and adaptation of people.
✅ Employment of IDPs: We support internally displaced persons by helping them find jobs in various fields.
Thanks to your contributions and concern, we were able to implement such important projects. But there is still a lot of work to be done!
