The First Anniversary of BlueCheck house in Bodnariv

August 1, 2024, marks a special date for all of us. It is the first anniversary of the opening of our unique shelter in Bodnariv, Ivano-Frankivsk region. This shelter has become a home for more than 20 people who had to leave their native places due to the war in their native country. The atmosphere here is extraordinary – warm, friendly, and genuine. The residents of the shelter call it “The Mill” because they are like grains gathered together, living in this wonderful place.

From its very first days, “The Mill” has become more than just a shelter. It is a place where people come together as one family, support each other, and create new traditions. Their creativity knows no bounds – the residents have independently created the brand “The Mill” and even produced T-shirts with this logo. These T-shirts have become a symbol of unity and mutual support.

Our main donor, the charitable organization BlueCheck from the USA, made the existence of this shelter possible. The founder of BlueCheck, famous actor Liev Schreiber, supported our initiative and continues to help us. We are immensely grateful to Liev and the entire BlueCheck team for their generosity and support.

This anniversary is a celebration for all of us. It is a time to remember how far we have come and to thank everyone who has helped us along the way. “The Mill” has become a symbol of our strength, unity, and hope for a better future. Thank you, BlueCheck, thank you, Liev Schreiber, thank you to everyone who believes in us and helps us.
