3rd Anniversary of the Shelter for IDPs in Mostyshche: Our First Project Supported by AHL Foundation

This year, on November 9, we celebrated the 3rd anniversary of our first shelter for internally displaced people in Mostyshche, a place where comfort and safety have become the foundation for a new beginning for 19 people who lost their homes or have nowhere to return to. This project marked the first step for MoveUkraine in creating shelters and supporting people affected by the war. Over these three years, the shelter in Mostyshche has helped residents regain stability, find support, and rebuild their lives.

We express our heartfelt gratitude to the AHL Foundation, whose support made this project possible. Thanks to our donor’s contribution, we were able to create a safe and welcoming space where every person feels care, dignity, and hope for the future.

The celebration of the shelter’s 3rd anniversary in Mostyshche became a warm and symbolic moment for both its residents and the MoveUkraine team. We shared stories, remembered the project’s early days, and honored those who have supported us from the very beginning. This event once again highlighted the importance of continuing our work to expand shelters for IDPs and provide long-term support for those who have lost their homes due to the war.

The project in Mostyshche is a clear example of how cooperation with international donors such as the AHL Foundation helps create safe and sustainable environments for people rebuilding their lives in Ukraine. We are proud of this achievement and deeply grateful to everyone who supports our mission — together, we are changing lives for the better.
